Etymology

In an effort to find a name to fit our vision, we searched for a symbol of connectivity, understatement, leadership, and creativity. We chose “Cue Ball” and this is the story behind our name:

We connect great people to pioneering ideas and push those ideas forward.

We seek simplicity and an understated approach - as an object a cue ball is simple, clean, and understated.

We look to be leaders - in terms of its function, a cue ball breaks the pack and leads each shot.

We understand that there is an art and science to winning – in the game of billiards, some basic principles in physics combined with an artful assessment of possibilities lead to a winning strategy.

The practical side of our name: we liked the sound of it and we could secure the domain name.
